Waterfall: The highest natural waterfall in Germany plunges down some 97 m. It is just a short walk away from Todtnauberg and it is impressive in summer and in winter (especially in the frost which follows cold winter evenings) with romantic pathways over bridges and steps; if paths are slippery in winter access is possible via Aftersteg (1 km away). Fatima chapel: Fatima chapel on the Bergerhöhe (hill). Lourdes grotto: In the forest in the direction of Aftersteg. Radschert: 1,180 m high mountain close to Todtnauberg, provides a splendid view to the east and the south over Todtnauberg all the way to the Alps. Martin-Heidegger Circular Trail: A circular route (6.4 km long; walking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes, with information boards) in the footsteps of the philosopher, who owned a hut in Todtnauberg from 1922 onwards, where he spent a lot of time, wrote several of his books and received famous guests.

Equipment can be hired at the location. There are also ski schools available.
